Well that’s it, the last show of the Moonraker “Fest or Bust” Tour has come and gone and we’ve hit the road to head home from Phoenix. Despite the awesome crowd response and the fact that we played what was probably our best set, we made a whopping $19. Another shitty promoter, another line of bullshit and another tank gas paid for out of our pockets.It’s safe to say, for me at least, that this was the craziest mix of good and bad I’ve ever experience in two weeks time. What will be some of my fondest memories for the rest of my life were made over these last few days, punctuated firmly and frequently by some of the worst.I’m not sure how to take it yet. Maybe I will in a couple days when I’ve been home and can let it all sink in. All I know right now is that I want a home cooked meal, a Skype date with my girlfriend and my bed.
